Finishing options
Boatman Furniture can offer a wide range of finishing options for your project. From painted projects (sprayed or hand painted) to projects highlighting the beauty of the wood used, we have a finishing option for you.
Spraying
We spray our work using a HVLP turbine system. This has the benefit of allowing us to not only spray in our dedicated workshop spraybooth, but on-site if necessary. The use of a HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) system, reduces paint overspray and wastage due to a higher transfer efficiency when compared to a conventional compressor setup.
Our finish of choice is Morrells High Performance Waterborne Lacquer, which can be colour-matched to your required colour and sheen level.
Hand painting
If a hand-finish is preferred, we can recommend paint from the following manufacturers.
Oil Finish
To bring out the true beauty of wood, a hardwax-oil such as Osmo can be used.
